I asked him what he was doing, and he said, “Charlie told me that if I’m going to make any meaningful progress toward a brighter and more well-adjusted future, I must first make a thorough Inventory of my Past. So that’s what I’m doing. It’s just taking longer than I thought. Do you have a problem with that?”

“Oh, no, not at all,” I told him (and I don’t), “in fact, after seeing you do what you’re doing, I was thinking it is probably time to clean out my closet.”

“Not funny, uncle,” he said, then he went back to his sack.

Geeeeeze. I wasn’t trying to bee funny. I really meant it when I said I should clean out my closet on these days.

Anyway, I told Kevin that I’d take him to his next Session, then take him to lunch. We’re both looking forward to that, probably.

So, I gotta go find something to take with me to read while I’m waiting for his Session to end. I’m pretty sure I have an appropriately entertaining Magazine or Periodical I haven’t read yet somewhere around here…probably in my closet.
