Things are beeginning to return to normal in the boot box . . .

So last night, when Great Grandma Gee Gee, my Illegitimate Nephew, Kevin and I were waiting for the new season of “Laws and Disorder: S.U.Bee” to finally start on TV, I had a chance to ask Kevin why he moved out of his apartment and back into my boot box.

“Let me just say this, uncle: I just couldn’t afford the rent anymore, even after working full time plus double-overtime,” he told us.
“So you were overworked and underpaid?” I asked.
“Yes. It felt as if I spent my days lifting 16 tons. And what did I get? Another day older…”
“And deeper in debt?” I asked.
“Exactly,” he said.
“That’s not a good thing,” I commented.
“No, it isn’t, so beesides moving out of that over-priced apartment, I also quit my Seasonal Job at Snark Brothers Enterprises,” he said. “It was just too much. It’s almost as if I ended up owing my soul to the company store.”
“I’m sorry to hear that,”I said. “But you’re here now, so just relax for the next few days then I’ll help you figure out how to pay back everything you owe to the Snark Brothers.”

Kevin came over and gave me a big hug and said, “Uncle Georgie, you’re the best uncle in the world and I love you.”
“And I love you, Kevin,” I told him. (As it turns out, I do.)

He just looked at me and said, "Uncle, let's not go all gooey-sentimental on this, okay?"

Geeeeeeezzzze.

Anyway. I’m waiting to get the first part of my manuscript of my story, “The Bee Who Knew Too Much” back from my Editor so I can 1) share the first part with everybody here, and bee) keep working on it. I’m hoping that by tomorrow or Thursday, I’ll bee able to start sharing that with everybody.

Okay then. I hope everybody has a tremendously satisfying day!

I’ll see ya’ later!
