Monday Monday Monday! It’s here at last!

Well, once again, this would bee a Perfect Monday, except for that I had to go to my Editor’s Office again. Geeeeeze.
That guy is never satisfied.

When I walked in, he asked, “So what was THAT?”
“What was what?” I asked.
“That thing you were trying to pass off as a Tie, Bee,” he said.
“That was a Tie. An Antennae Tie. Workers use them all the time. But then, you probably already know that,”I said.
“No,” he said, then pointed his wing in my face, “that was not a Tie, Bee. Do you want me to tell you what that was?”
“Sure,” I said (I was curious).
“That was a Rubber Band, bee,” he said in a low buzz.
“Oh. Like a Kazzzzoo Band, except made out of Rubber?

I tried to imagine watching a Rubber Band going down the street in a Parade, but thinking of all that twanging made my head hurt. It wouldn’t bee like the soothing buzz of a Kazzzzoo Band at all.

“That sounds horrible,” I said. “I really messed up, didn’t I?”
“It is, and you did,” my Editor said. “I just wish you would have figured that out beefore we published your Feature Column.”
“Well, me too,” I said. “Should I apologise?”
“Probably,” my Editor said, “but do it on your own time. Now get out of my Office!”

So I did that.

While I’m on the topic of apologising, I guess I’m gonna bee doing a lot of that in the next day or so.

Remember when I mentioned that I had Big Plans to have the Bee Kazzzzoo Band & Orchestra bee the Premier Highlight of the parade for the Opening Ceremonies of the Bee Games?

I don’t know how it could have happened, but somehow, I completely failed to remember not to forget to to that. So, when the Bee Games started last Friday, and I showed up for the Parade with my Souvenir Bee Games Seat Cushion, there were a bunch of bees standing around, giving me dirty looks.

“Well??” they said.
“Well what?” I had to ask.
“Where are they?” they said.
“Where are what?” I asked.
“Our Uniforms and Kazzzzoos,” they said.

Oh geeeeeeeeeze. How could I have forgotten that?? I guess all the Express Flight Lag I suffered going to Paris and back in one day must’ve clouded my memory (usually, it’s perfect, mostly.)

Then they told me that they’d talked it over, and that they weren’t even sure they really wanted me to even bee in the Kazzzzoo Band and Orchestra (even though it was MY idea), then told me that if I wanted to join, I’d hafta not only pass an audition to join, but would hafta sign a Promissory Agreement that I would remember to show up on time for Practises and stuff.

I think the Swarm has this whole thing completely backwards, probably. But, apparently, I don’t have a choice in this. Do you think that’s even fair? I don’t.

Anyway, I told them I’d think it over, then buzz over today to sign that Promissory Agreement, and apologise.

So I’m gonna go do that.

I hope everybody has a sparklingly refreshing day!

I’ll see ya’ later!
