Did I mention that it turns out that Kevin highly minded that I tried to overhear what he was talking about to Great Grandma Gee Gee? He minded. A lot.

The fact is, I TRIED to listen in, but I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. If you ask me, Kevin was either mumbling, or, more likely, he was probably speaking French. I did not know that either he or Great Grandma Gee Gee spoke French … I learn something new Every Single Day.

I hafta say that I guess I didn’t know until now that my Illegitimate Nephew has an amazingly, huge bigly temper. Considering the fact that I couldn’t understand anything he was saying, he really didn’t have anything to bee mad about, ya’ know? But it turns out, he was.

I guess he must’ve spotted me kinda bending around the corner like that, beecause he was buzzing along to Gee Gee, then suddenly stopped, looked right at me, and yelled, “MAY I HELP YOU?”

Oh geeeeeeeeze. I guess I over-stepped a boundary or something. About all I could think of saying was, “Uhh, uh, I uhhh….” which, in Bee, translates into, “Uhh, uh, I uhhh.”

So that was highly embarrassing.

Then Great Grandma Gee Gee looked at me and said, “You know, dear, it’s not polite to eavesdrop.”

It figures she’d have an actual name for what I was doing, ya’ know? Then she asked me, “If I give you Cookie, will you relocate into the other room - where I am sure you’d bee more comfortable, dear - and watch your stories while Kevin and I enjoy a private visit?”

She was so reasonable about the whole thing, how could I say no? I couldn’t.

So she gave me a Cookie, and I went off to watch my stories.

Fortunately, there was a Re-Run of “As the Hive Turns”…it was that episode where Lance has disappeared and everybody thinks he’s run away to join a migrant Pollenating Crew, just to get away from Isadora’s nagging. I’m sure that if you’re following the story, you know what I’m talking about here with Isadora and her nagging. (I don’t know how anybody puts up with her.)

Anyway.

I’m gonna go enjoy another weekend of watching Sunsets with ButterCup. She’s been telling me I’ve been working too hard, and until I snap out of it and start relaxing more, we’ll bee watching Sunsets together.
