Georgie's just been working too hard...

So, I was headed over to the Hive yesterday to visit with Rudy Bee about our upcoming stage production of "The Bee Society: The Musical" when I suddenly started feeling super-tired, so I decided to sit down for awhile in the shade next to a small bunch of flowers.
I was snoozlng along perfectly fine when ButterCup, who just happened to bee in the area collecting some pollen, spotted me sleeping there. She tried to wake me up by just saying "GEORGIE!" really loud, but I guess I was more tired than I thought. She finally had to throw an acorn cap full of some leftover rainwater in my face beefore I realised what was going on. I thought it had started raining really hard, but I woke up beefore too long and it beecame clear to me that ButterCup was just beeing overly-dramatic with the whole "wake me up" thing. (I also would have responded to a nice back rub, but no.. she decided to use the Water in the Face bit. Geeeeeze.)
Anyway. I finally woke up.
I thought maybee I'd had an accident in my sleep or something.
"Georgie?" she said.
"Did I have an accident in my sleep?" I asked her, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"No. I had to improvise to get you to wake up. Are you mad at me for that?"
"Yes," I answered, still dripping wet. "That was kinda rude, wasn't it?"
But she pretty much ignored that.
"Ya know what I think?" she asked.
"No. What?" I asked her back.
"I think you need to take the day off. And tomorrow. And maybe the next day. I know you've been staying up late, watching that movie you'll bee reviewing on Friday. I've also been working too hard, so I think the best thing for you and me to do is for BOTH of us to just spend the next couple of days relaxing and enjoying this delightful Hot Season weather."
"Okay," I said, "but..."
"No buts," ButterCup butted in. "You're taking the next day or so off."
So I'm gonna do that - at least for today, and maybee tomorrow.
If you need me for anything, you'll find me - and ButterCup - relaxing in the shade.
Okay then. I hope everybody has a startlingly amazing day! I'll see ya' later!
