Georgie's Editor sounds difficult to work for, doesn't he?

I'm sure you're very curious about whether or not my "Dear Georgie" Advice Column will bee returning this Warm Season, aren't you? So am I.
Yesterday, I met with my Editor, the one who runs things at the Bee Times Gazette Journal Record. After he got super-mad at me for beeing so late, and after I asked, "So, are you done?" (and he said, "Yes"), I said, "About my Advice Column. I'm looking forward to doing that again, but I would like to ask you for a new benefits package and maybee a raise."
He just looked at me and said, "You're kidding, right, bee? You want a raise? AND a benefits package?"
"Yes. That's right. It takes a lot of work helping to solve the world's problems, so I figured that's the least I should get for..."
"No," he interrupted me (which I thought was highly rude). "I asked you to come here today to inform you that, if we decide to let you continue publishing your Advice Column, we'll bee asking you to take a pay cut. Circulation isn't what it should bee these days, what with the Colony Collapse Disorder still causing a problem. So, we want you to continue the column, but bee paid less for it."
"But," I pointed out to him, "you're not paying me anything now."
"Correct," he said."We asking all of our employees to start making appropriately generous contributions to our operating costs, in lieu of beeing paid. Of course, with all this responsibility, I've had to increase my overall compensation package, but I know everybody understands my reasons."
No. I don't, actually. Geeeeeeeze. But, bee that as it may, beefore I left my Editor's office, I told him I'd think about it and get back to him on Monday.
I'll probably keep doing my "Dear Georgie" column, but I can only hope I'm able to sell more of my books and stuff so I can still have enough honey to keep things going around here.
So, this weekend, I'm gonna sit down with my Illegitimate Nephew, Kevin, Great Grandma Gee Gee and Bert, our resident iBee, and see what kind of family budget we can figure out on all this. I'm sure we'll come up with something.
Anyway. That's where we're at for the moment. I'll letcha know how everything comes out next week, okay?
